A Fuzzy Memory for Android Released

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' for cocos2d-x
Got this mysterious error when compiling and running on a iOS 3.1.3 device:
The game would halt on any "new" calls to allocate memory. The mystery was that the game worked fine in debug but in release it was throwing this error shown above. It turns out that the Release configuration was using LLVM Compiler 2.0 while the Debug configuration was using LLVM GCC 4.2 for the cocos2d-x library build setting.
I switched the Release one to LLVM Compiler 2.0 and the game runs fine now on my iOS 3.1.3 device. The issue doesn't occur for my iOS 4.1 device so it looks like it was a mysterious compiler issue that caused this bug for my iOS 3.1.3 device.

I have no idea what the extra in-app purchases got me other than fooled.
[RosePear Studio: "I apologize for any misunderstanding as the in-app purchase unlocks the 71 level limit to open up all the levels (up to 10 items) so I guess I wasn't clear enough in the purchase details. If you somehow find this and contact me, I'll compensate you that $1 with a free version of my other game!"]

Fun but not too challenging. A lot more fun when you can increase the rate of the game. I don't know that I would pay for it, but enjoy it as a free game.
[RosePear Studio: "Thanks for the feedback. Note: You can set the speed at the start of the game! I will consider putting a speed setting slider option for even more speed!"]

App Store Availablility Date vs Release Date - A Fuzzy Memory
A Fuzzy Memory is now Approved as of Dec 3, 5pm and the Release date is set to Dec 8, 2011. Today is Dec 4, 2011 and I am under the impression that the Availability Date bug on the App Store is fixed so I'm putting faith in the December 8 release being what's shown on the App Store New Release section.
I'm concerned because I did a quick search and found Think Tap Work's blog on their recent Released Date woes with Cricket Words. They stated that
iPhone Dev SDK forum has members discussing "Availablility Date vs. Release Date issues" and mentioning twice here and here that it's fixed with people saying that it's been fine for them in their experience of having set a future release date for their approved apps. The article from RX Games is referenced stating that the App Store release date bug is fixed (article date April 25, 2011).
I'm taking a risk in waiting until Thursday as the release date of A Fuzzy Memory, but I'll give it a try. I read that Thursday is the "Best Day To Release An App" discussion when doing a google search and reading the iPhone Dev SDK forum.
Will keep posting on how things go.
Update Dec 8, 2011. Looks like the bug is confirmed. And I have ended up on 4 whole days down on every listing. See the following screenshots:
I'm in the Medical, Educational games categories and as you can see instead of Dec 8, it's Dec 4.
The Post date on the iPod Touch on the left is Dec 3 but the Post date on the iPad is Dec 8, 2011. But in every single listing, it's organized under Dec 4 instead of today (as of this update) which is Dec 8.
So it's confirmed that released apps are still ordered by the Approval date and not the Release Date. There needs to be a warning to clarify that difference because it's a very important one.
If you're reading this, I hope this helps. Thanks Think Tap Work for initially blogging about this continual headache of a bug or "unclear functionality"of iTunes Connect alleged "Release Date" functionality. I confirm that this "bug" still is as expected.

"... Apple sorted our app in the App Store based on the date they approved Cricket Words, rather than the date that we released it."And their screenshot showed their game at the Nov 22, 2011 slot between Nov 18 and Nov 17 released titles.
